Virtual Learning Network
Coproduction of health and care involves collaboration between patients (users) and healthcare professionals, working together in relationships and actions that improve individual and population health. Building on past pilot initiatives through international programs and networks, Coproducing Quality Health & Care (CQH&C) creates a learning community to further develop and apply these ideas in real clinical settings.
The initiative includes a group of participants from around the globe in 8–10 healthcare settings, pairing professionals with learning partners across areas such as hospitals, clinics, and home care. Through monthly virtual meetings over about a year, the group explores frameworks, tools, and shared experiences to better understand and practice coproduction. Their findings contribute to a shared repository of resources and the development of a “generative curriculum,” which is expanded through conversations on social media to engage a broader community.
